Controller not appearing?
  1. Press a button on the controller while this tab is visible.
  2. Check that the controller is paired or connected with a data-capable USB cable.
  3. Disconnect and reconnect it, then press a button again.
  4. Try a current browser with gamepad support. Some devices are only exposed as keyboard or mouse inputs.

No installation or account needed. Key, text, and device readings stay in this page.

How to test your gamepad online

  1. Connect your controller by USB or Bluetooth and press a button while this tab is visible.
  2. Try the buttons, sticks, and triggers. Their values update automatically.
  3. Release the controls to inspect their resting values. Use Test vibration if your controller supports it.

Which controllers can I test?

The tester reads controllers exposed through your browser’s Gamepad API, including compatible Xbox, PlayStation, and other USB or Bluetooth controllers. Support depends on the device, operating system, connection, and browser. A controller that works in a game may still need a button press before it appears here.

Why do some controllers show numbered buttons and axes?

A standard browser mapping lets the tester label sticks, triggers, and buttons consistently. When that mapping is unavailable, it shows every reported button and axis by index. Move one control at a time to identify the matching reading; the page does not guess a layout from the controller’s name.

Can this test help me check stick drift?

Release the sticks and inspect their axis values. A value away from the center shows what the browser is receiving at rest. Small offsets alone do not prove a fault: games may apply their own deadzones, and browser readings do not measure hardware latency or polling rate.
