Test gamepad, keyboard, and mouse input together

  1. Connect your devices. Press a gamepad button to make the controller visible to the browser.
  2. Press keys and move, click, or scroll anywhere on this page. All three panels update automatically.
  3. Compare the detected inputs with your expected controls. Clear the results whenever you want a fresh check.

When should I use the All inputs view?

Use it when a setup produces more than one type of input, such as a controller with keyboard mappings or an adaptive device that sends mouse clicks. The separate testers provide a focused view for checking one device type. All inputs keeps the same readings together on one page.

Can I check my PlayAbility mappings here?

Yes. Activate your mappings in PlayAbility, return to this page, and try the mapped action. Mouse output is detected anywhere on the page. The page shows outputs received by the browser; it does not change your profile or confirm how a game handles them.

Why does an adaptive device appear as a key or mouse button?

Some switches and adaptive devices send keyboard or mouse events. Look at the panel matching your configured output. If nothing appears, check the connection and mapping, keep this page in front, and keep the pointer over the page when testing clicks.
